ST Michaels Village


Steeped in history, pretty St Michael’s Village boasts some of the most characterful period properties in St Albans. Just a short walk from the heart of the city along Fishpool Street, St Michael’s Village is home to some of the city’s top attractions, including Verulamium Museum and the Roman Theatre, while maintaining a peaceful village feel to the area. The annual St Albans Folk Festival sees St Michael’s streets lined with Morris dancers.

Verulamium Park boasts rolling parkland stretching from St Michael’s Village to St Albans Cathedral and up to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. The pretty River Ver also runs through the village.
